And so here we are...

... at the start of what could be a truly revolutionary project in our own backyards! At last the super-mega-ultra-speed internet service that is B4RN may, just may, be coming to Cartmel Fell. But only if we make it happen. Only if we band together as a community and invest the time and effort to bring it here.
So that’s why we as a family are supporting this project. That’s why we are taking the time to promote it every chance we get to every person we meet. The potential of this project is simply staggering. The future is coming to Cartmel Fell just as surely as it’s coming to Manchester or London. Why should we, simply by virtue of living in a dispersed and rural setting, have to settle for second best? For slower speeds and higher costs? For loading screens and data caps?
The future is coming to Cartmel Fell just as surely as it’s coming to Manchester or London.
Well, quite simply, we shouldn’t. Every citizen should have equal access to the future of the internet regardless of their location. Every child should have equal access to the best that online education has to offer regardless of where they’re being brought up. Every business should have equal access to the unrivalled connectivity that hyperfast broadband brings regardless of whether they’re in the city centre or a converted barn on the fells. And every dad, regardless of where his TV chair is, should be able to stream his favourite Netflix series in jaw-dropping 4K Ultra-HD with High Dynamic Range image enhancement and Dolby Atmos surround sound! Fact!!
And so here we are, sharing with you how genuinely excited we feel about the potential arrival of B4RN on Cartmel Fell and asking you seriously to consider expressing your interest in taking up the service and maybe even donating a little of your time to support the roll-out.
The roll-out of what could be a truly revolutionary project in our own backyards…
