Cartmel Fell B4RN - our first properties GO LIVE!

Updated: Aug 25

Our first batch of properties on Route 1 of Cartmel Fell’s B4RN broadband project will be LIVE on 26th July 2023 and the Parish Hall and St Anthony’s Church will be the first to be switched on with B4RN.

As part of volunteer training on the day with B4RN, teams visit a number of properties to run through the B4RN service contract and get each router up and running. Volunteers can also help householders get their devices connected to the router, either at the same time or during a second visit.

Please NOTE:

  • Any paperwork related to a business or something else that B4RN has requested from you will be needed before your service goes live.

  • Sign up for the Connect+ (service overlap discount) must be done before go live.

After volunteers are trained on 26th July, we will arrange appointments with any properties where the routers and contracts are available.

We’re going to hold a small cake-cutting ceremony at the Parish Hall at 5-6pm on 26th July to celebrate our first batch of go-lives, and some B4RN staff and contractors will be joining us, so you can have a chat with them if you’d like.
