Over 30% of houses on Cartmel Fell now LIVE on B4RN
Our first "go live" event at Cartmel Fell Parish Hall was on 26th July. After attending some B4RN training, we then we got to go out visit the first of our neighbours to install their B4RN router and watch the router lights turn green. We saw lots of happy faces!
A number of the B4RN team were on location to assist and because of that, we actually got more people live than we had planned to on our first day.
We then went to the Parish Hall and had a little cake cutting ceremony to celebrate the beginning of the best bit of our project - going live. There was cake, chat and bubbly.

We've been steadily adding to the number of go lives and delivered routers since then:
B4RN broadband is now live in over 30% of the houses on Cartmel Fell.
...and we're still working on garden digs. The dedicated diggers, fuelled by kind offers of sandwiches, cake and cups of tea and coffee will be working their way along the Winster valley through September and October.
We hope to have some good news about go-live visits for some more of you very soon.
